went to swartswood today the weather was fantastic ,caught 17 sunnies, 3 largemouths,1 smallmouth and 3 perch. most fish were caught on a 2" augertail grub. also used a fly rod with a small popper.the biggest fish was caught on a jig and pig in some huge lilly pads,it was a 10" lmb. these pads were the size of dinner plates about 14" in diameter.the water was not as gin clear as usual also the wind wasn't bad.the best thing was no heavy boat traffic.electric motors only.when i was leaving i found a 26" dead walleye near a bubbler in front of dove island. it was sad to find a fish that size dead.all in all a fun day on the water.
