Today capt. Tom & Gene ran another 6 am open boat Jumbo Ocean Fluke trip for a great group of new and returning guys. Once again we started with tough drifting conditions but we know the big ones are here and we waited it out, picking and plucking so when things got correct, Neil landed his PB at 7 lbs. But that wasn't good enough, so as he continues to fish hard, the headshakes start and bests his PB with another going 9 lbs, with a spread of quality fish around the boat. And I am one happy fisherman ! Thanks Tom and Gene for putting us on the spots. Just proves you never can tell. Last week I caught lots of fish but couldn't find a keeper while the other guys on the boat were limiting out and this week I land my PB and then top it ! Great stuff.
