Renting a boat on spruce for Saturday. I don't have much experience there. Was going to just soak some herring in 25 feet of water and hope for the best. Anyone have any tips they can give me general areas/ techniques? Thanks in advance

All my favorite spots are dry land now, sorry.

Out by the dam we would see lots of hybrids while bowfishing at night. Shallow as well

Most of the action the couple times i been out this year there has not been far from the boat ramp, also if u are unfamiliar with spruce make sure to watch out for sand bars watched ten guys run a ground last wknd there

I got yelled at for being too close to the dam.
In all the years I've fished there, the water company trucks have never said anything to me. They usually just wave and pass on by. I was really surprised when a truck stopped on the dam, a lady got out and yelled to me that I had to be 200 feet away.
I was going to be a wise-ass and say, "Well you're on it.", but I decided to just leave that spot.
