Stifling I tell Ya EDITH!!!!!!!

After a poor outing on Satuday night I ran home swapped gear and headed back out Sunday morning and fished from about 6 till 12 and the fish were hungry. Did my usual thing trolling with live bait and manage to boat 11 fish with a triple header that I landed solo for the highlight of the day! Seems like most of the fish are now in the upper portion of the water column making them a little easier to target. It was Archie Bunker Hot "Stifling Hot"!!!! so I packed it in early with only three trailers left in the lot! I ended up with 8 Hybrids 2 Smallies and 1 Scrawny Largemouth for the day and here's a few pics to show fish do feed no matter what the conditions!!!!

Good job Dale. It's sad that the night bite is over or at least the crazy night bite is over. I was realy starting to enjoy it along with the occasional chorus of coyote songs. I'm having trouble with the daytime fishing. To many people! Keep up the good work.

Nice come back from the RV night time bust...at least for us anyway. Guess all you had to do was get me off the boat! :eek: Way to put in the time and reap the rewards dude. Nicely Done.

apparently, night time is the WRONG time for hybrids this year! doesn't help that dale is a bad ass at catching hybrids and makes us all look bad though!

Great report - I was out on the same day and experienced similar results with quite a few solo double headers - nice fish as well averaging about 21" and I left them biting around 1:30 pm on a really hot day! Hoping for more of the same this weekend.
