SB summer smallmouth 7/17/16:

Met Wilson and Kcritch at the confluence of the N and S branch. Didn't spend much time there as the N Branch was choco milk ! Went to the lower S Branch and it was running clean. We had a decent pick of SMB, nothing huge but some nice fish. Grabbed a few tires on the way out and cleaned up after some pigs in the parking lot.

not only are those people lazy litter bugs they trew away two unopened water bottles as well.icebadger hates litter bugs.:mad:its to hot out to throw away full water bottles.thanks for picking up after those slobs.

It was a fun morning boys. I can't tell you how happy I was when I pulled up and saw Andy with a fishing rod instead of all his tire pulling gear!!!:eek: Although that didn't stop him from canvassing the river for tires while Wilson and I fished. :D Tons of bait fish in the river right now...they were everywhere. I got all my fish on a weightless Senko while Wilson was proving that he could catch them on anything...hair jig, mepps, panther martin, small jig head with a senko or other small plastic bait (Wilson called it a "fake fish" bait...very descriptive of him :D), small Rapala Countdown, etc. Always good to get out with these guys.

Gotta love the Trout waters this time of year. Lots of other fish species swimming around once the Trout disappear. And hey, if you get too hot, jump in the water and cool off for a minute! Sounds like a good time fellaz!:D
