Open boat Yellowfins in the 60 lb range with Bluefins up to 100 lbs Sat 7/16 on the 55 Hooked Up II out of Cape May, NJ

We will be running an open boat inshore tuna for both Bluefins up to 100 lbs and large Yellowfins in the 60 lb range only 40 miles from out dock in Cape May. Just flat our great inshore tuna fishing happening right now. We can run either a day trip departing about 3:00 am until 3:00-4:00 pm or one of our special trips that depart around 9:00 am and return to the dock around 9:00 pm. These afternoon trips have provided absolutely great fishing as the tuna bite has been on fire after the boat traffic slims down starting around 2:30-3:00 pm. These trips are all chunking and jigging and with the 90 degree weather coming back this weekend our salon is kept at a comfortable 72 degrees with AC. If this trip is anything like our last trips you will be out in the cockpit fighting tuna for most of the trip. It has been that good lately. We take a maximum of 6 anglers.

My mate Ray went out today (Wednesday) on private boat to help teach the owner and friends some of the techniques we have been using to catch tuna on the Hooked Up II. He is leaving again Thursday morning at 3:00 am on another private boat doing the same thing. (Helping and teaching) The tuna bite was off the charts this past morning (Wednesday) with lots of boats getting between 6 and 12 Yellowfins plus Big Eyes. The bite was absolutely on fire on nice Yellowfins. Just fantastic tuna during again today out of the Southern NJ ports.

The Yellowfin and Bluefin bite is on fire this morning about 40 miles south of Cape May. I have been charter fishing for 30 years out of South Jersey and this is by far one of the very best inshore tuna bites I have ever experienced. Definitely the biggest inshore Yellowfins I have ever seen except for in the canyons at times. Do not miss out on this great fishing as there is no way to really know how long it will last.
