When I get these piles up on the bank they smell just awful ! I'm tripping over all kind of submerged logs and stuff, plenty of SMB habitat. If I didn't think this was an improvement I wouldn't do it, they seem to be creating a mud bottom as opposed to nice free flowing rock bottom.

My drinking water is collected from this river also.

You're the man Andy!!! Dunno how you do it!? My buddies can't last just casting all day, let alone doing actual work.

Think we all owe Andy a beer!!!:D:D

we owe him a lot more than a beer. I'd love to see all of the trash and tires this guy has pulled out of the river in one place. Probably would fill a stadium.

Andy doesn't drink beer... He drinks the souls of littering scum bags!

I guess you were just above the Headgates by a hundred feet or so? Doesn't it drop right off to about eight feet on up? I feel I owe you better than photos yet, Andy. Yeah, I got out there and the canoe I manned hauled a lot of tire, but you and I both know I sort of approached the day all too tentatively, but I guess you get your feet wet first and then dive under. Or guys that have to look around first do. And I can't tell you how much stretches of river with people makiing them more beautiful yet beckons a photographer's eye! And a writer's report. One thing for sure. Next time I'm either wearing swim shorts or free ballin', because anyone who does this right--I sure have observed--needs to get thoroughly soaked. And I'm relieved my left arm's tendonitus is finally getting better. Didn't tell anyone about that, because I just needed to make do anyway...and a lot more doing it is, than I really did. I'll try again
