Son's 1st LMB

I grew up at the shore, admittedly I am a saltwater snob. Started FW fishing a few years ago as a volunteer with Heroes On the Water (HOW). My son attended his first HOW event last week at the Picatinny Arsenal and caught his 1st LMB. The Bass was pulling the tandem kayak into the wind, until I saw it I thought it was a large snapping turtle.

Helluva a first fish....going to be a tough one to beat but nothing wrong with setting the bar high. I'm sure that's a fish he'll be talking about for a long time! Love the arm rest in the picture!

Caught my PB LMB while guiding a Veteran from the Lyon's VA hospital at yesterday's Heroes On the Water event at the Picatinny Arsenal. I honestly wish that the Veteran caught the big one. He also caught a bass.
