So today we took the crew from Trenton state prison for what was supposed to be a sea bass trip. Coming out we saw the stripers all over the beach so we bagged that and switched gears for stripers - it was the right call. Easily limited out. The best part was most of these guys have never caught a striped bass. Tom caught his first bass - over 50 lbs and Jim had his first bass that went over 40. In the end we have 4 over 30, 3 over 40 and a 50. After that - they were done. We will be hosting open boat striper/sea bass trips Friday Saturday and Sunday.
