Sunday early am eyeballing!!!

hit the lake at 2:30am.a little wind but no rain at all.went to first spot and had a good 5lber on my third cast.twenty minutes later I hook anther one and land it,2-1/2-3lbs.all happy now that I got up and got up there to catch a few.about a hour goes by with nothing and I am thinking of changing spots when "kapow' I get smashed.at first I thought hybrid but it slowed its fight and started giving those great head shakes.got het to the net,nice 7-7-1/2 lb eye. had two more good hits that I missed and around 5am called it a day.was going to do a little crappie fishing but the rains came and that was that.

I'm thinking everyone was going stir crazy on their couches all last week and NEEDED to get out saturday, including myself lol. Weeknights should be a little better..

atta boy captain. nice fish, got to love that nite bite. that next day it was game on with the wind.crappie fishin was tough.
