I hadn't used my boat since last year due a few leaks that needed to be fixed. Plus, lack of a towing vehicle made it less of a priority. Finally got a vehicle with towing capabilities and all issues fixed with the boat I took it out last week for a test ride. All lights on the trailer worked, battery which I hadn't used in while charged up nicely, and best of all, NO LEAKS!! :p

Went up to the shed to get my permits in order and planned to fish but the wind was steady and the water choppy so we decided to hit the river instead. Got there and found much better conditions. Over the course of a few hours we covered a decent amount of water and caught a few perch, a small Larry, and a couple decent pike.

I had the 2 biggest of the day. Both fish hit aggressively and fought like beasts!! Best part was watching one pike keep swinging and missing pops lure. Then as we floated by, I whacked em first cast with a different color. Pops was pissed, lol. Felt great to finally get the boat back in the water and had some good action to go with it!!

nice job man, i've been skunked 3 times in a row this week there...lost a bunch of lures, had a fish break a lure and come off, lost one to a jump...i reached my breaking point the other day and on a snag just ripped my lure as hard as i could sending it ripping past my face haha I think i need ang(l)er management.

Haha, sorry, didn't have time to alter the pics before posting (insert "ain't nobody got time for that" meme here). But hey, if you know this particular spot on the Millstone, by all means, have at it!!! :)
