Fished the morning shift on MC yesterday for the first time this year. We were the only ones on the lake at 6:45am. The bite was all on very bright colored(pink, orange and yellow) lures and spoons. My buddy never trolled with me before and popped his cherry on a 19" laker. He soon crushed that one with a 7lb 27" beauty and let everybody on the lake know it with a yell lol. We ended up with 2 more cookie-cutter 19-20" lakers and a 15" rainbow. I'll be back there for more on Sunday then I wanna go hit up Aeroflex next week.

It was a nice thick healthy fish for sure. I'm still after "the one that got away" last year we dropped 6" from the net... That fish was easily 32-34" or more...

Ramp has some construction going on on the right side but water lever is fine. No issues launching.

Not bad for an iphone right lol. The lake is down 5-10' would be my guess but it's not issue at the ramp. Nothing like what's going on at RV.

Merrill was not so kind to me yesterday for some strange reason. Met a guy at the ramp leaving as I was going in at 1pm who had caught 6 lakers for the morning but we only ended up with a 22" laker and a 15" rainbow. Had quite a few takes and drops for some reason. It was driving us nutts as we dropped probably double digit hits before we could even grab the rods most of the time. I know a few of them were good fish as the boards were sunk. Oh well until next time. Still didn't get skunked and better than being at work.
