seems i can't go crappie fishing without it raining...it really seems to cut down the number of fish caught but makes the big slabs come out and play! The water temps were down and the wind blowing made for a frustrating morning but in the afternoon the wind laid down and we found the crappie roaming outside of the weed flats that we were hitting all morning. They weren't schooled up yet but seemed to be spawned out roaming around solo just outside the drop offs. Lure of choice was a husky jerk.
