Got to the grounds super early and was greeted by 1,000,000 diving birds with lots of other life. Started jigging and got bites and fish pretty quick. Fish were all shorts. Did this for about an hour and we decided to look somewhere else for the bigger ones. Took and ride and found some good readings but only managed to catch a short. Talked to Capt Rick, who was back where we started. So back we went and we jigged keepers to 25lbs and shorts for a few more hours. Tried trolling some mojos to see it it was better, but it was about the same, so we stuck with the jigs. Had a mix of around 25 fish, keeping our legal boat limit.
