Big bass proud dad!

My 7-year caught his personal best yesterday at a local pond.
Best part about it was he hooked it, brought it in, took it off the hook and picked it up all by himself! At age 7 - I think that's pretty impressive! This kid has the fishing fever! Can't wait for warmer weather.

Where'd you get the fishing gloves? My 7 year old said if he had gloves, he'd take the fish off the hook also. I tried to tell him I have a special spray, a water bottle filled with water and a drop of dish soap, that would protect his hands. He figured it out after a couple of tries...

Believe it or not - my son thought of it himself! He used a pair of old baseball gloves. He's afraid of the spikes! so he wears them occasionally. whatever it takes to keep him fishing!
