Good luck! I haven't caught any of those either, but only flatheads will be on my new species target list for 2016. Other than that I'm just looking to up my game on the species I neglected in 2015 like musky and walleye.

I don't think they're in the duck ponds that get stocked down in south jersey

true goldens are out west. usually the ones that get stocked around here are palaminos.

Flatheads were on my list for 2015, but I came up short. The few nights I went out for them I was swarmed by mosquitoes and the dark was scary. :D
Caught some nice Channel Cats, but the Flatheads never showed up. Maybe this year...
I was under the impression that the "Golden Trout" some clubs stock in NJ were just amelanistic Rainbow Trout.

I'm pretty sure you're right. They don't stock true golden trout from the Western US.

Wrong, yes there is a golden trout species in California. The golden trout locally are a color morph or a normal rainbow trout but are different Then a palomino which is a different color morph. Palaminos are snow white and not a the typical yellow/golden color that you typically see stocked. I've caught 47 golden trout and have only ever seen one true palomino.

Have caught all those but the redfin pickerel. Definitely are very hard to find although I do know a few spots I've heard of then I just gotta suck it up and spend some time fishing
