Got bailed on for Sunday fishing and couldn't find anyone last minute to go so I hit it solo. Bigger trout or bass were on my target list but it was a 14-15 inch bow fest for me in the morning. Mostly on jigging flies 20' depth and some action on the bow colored scatter rap (cannibals!).
I actually abandoned those tactics and tried and tried for bigger trout or bass in other ways but nothing I tried got a touch! Except for one nice perch to end the day. Next to zero wind, warm...merry Xmas. Good thing there is plenty of good open water fishing because if the extended forecasted temps are right we won't have ice through January! Water temp 48 in the morning...wow.
My brightest pink bow escaped through the giant hole in my net  of course I wanted a pic of it, oh well. All I have is this pic I took for the online fishing contest on onlinefishingtournament.com. All fish were about the same except the brilliantly colored one that escaped and all released since I got my first ever blackfish limit Saturday and a bonus sea bass and a keeper striper :D
