Got out on my buddy Todd's boat yesterday with a crew of 5. Left MI but stayed local thinkin the north would be packed. Slow bite most of the day but we picked away. Todd got a nice one during the morning. We tried hard, anchoring was tough with no wind. A lot of resets, and different structure.
The afternoon was better. Timmy did great showing us how its done getting 8 keepers for the day (only keeping his limit). They finally started chewin at the end of the afternoon. We had some fast action. Frank took the pool with a 9 lb brute and Tony who struggled all day trying to get a keeper ended with 3. I had 5 keepers to 19" and the cooler came back with 23 keepers in it. Great warm weather day on the water with great peeps
