Went out for about 2 hours for lunch today just around the corner from my house as I just needed to get out and I couldn't take seeing everyone on here killin it anymore. Ended up with 2 Bows...nothing big just little stockies...but those were my first fish caught in NJ since JUNE!!!! It's been a long tough skunk filled half a year for me. Caught 'em both on a little 1/8th oz black hair jig... Thanks Andy! Not much but it felt good to at least catch something. Pic of the second one to prove it happened. Sorry for the bad pic...workin a flip phone until it dies...HA!

Good job Ken you are long overdue.

Nice bow no matter how you look at it.

You know where to find me at night usually, still mapping out Spruce for the ice.

Definitely appreciative of the close water for sure...and to know that my gear can still catch a fish!!! Was seriously doubting it there for too long! :D

Killing me not to make the party...I haven't given up yet but it is not lookin good. Hanging with you crazy bastards is fun but it aint worth the price of a divorce!!! Or is it????

Hopin Santa gives me an early Christmas Present and works it out!

Nice trout !! The water in the N Branch may be a little muddy with all the river restoration work going on up on the Lamington. Keep at it, try to fish with others as much as possible, that's the way I learn lots of stuff.
Jigs are funny, you can start to experiment with different weights and head shapes, then colors. Spoon head, glider head, football head, the list goes on and on. I just ordered another 80 jigs !!!!:D
