Shhhhhh! WALLEYE!!! 12/10

Left work a little early and went FISHING. It wasn't like it was in past trips with Walleye coming over the rails like every 5-10 minutes. It was a slow pick today with an insane amount of fish lost and bait ripped off the hooks. Still managed to land a limit and 1 short. I can tell you how many I lost. SHHHHHHHHHH, Its a secret. If there was a certain day to use a stinger hook, today was that day. DAMMIT!!! Some of the fish I lost had some serious weight to them, bummer! The keepers landed were 2 @ 18 inches, cocktail cookie cutter Eyes. The big female went 23 1/2 and possibly the fattest girl I've seen in a while, wayyyy thicker than last couple of breeders. Good times had by myself with some very peculiar weather to boot.

Eddie if you started a fishing guide I would book a trip for sure to get out there and for you to teach me on fall and winter walleye fishing but awesome to leave early from work and do some fishing!! Great job buddy!

the pike were not so cooperative thursday, but then again i only had about an hour after work...this whole work thing is really starting to get in the way of my fishing!

why i've been neglecting the walleye this year i have no idea!?

I went there today and only got 1@ 10". should brought live bait.
Had a ton just nip at it but dropped them all.
all where the current on right meets that left slow moving eddy.
wish depew access was open
