12/4-12/5 Offshore Seabass

Been busy so the report is a little late. Went offshore Friday night and couldn't ask for better weather. Nice easy smooth ride out. Started fishing around 6:15 am and was inundated with blues as warned. Had some fun on a jigging rod anyway. As soon as the seabass started to come up I made the switch to bait. Constant action for most of the day made for a limit of seabass and a few porgies thrown in. Did see a few Cod come in and a pollack or two. Most important was having a great time with a bunch of good guys, catching fish, and having the right one when it came time to the weigh in.
