I fished a bunch so i'm just going to jumble it all together short and sweet...

had a rough day a bit ago but after trying all the usual things we just randomly jigged flies 20ft in deep water and ended up saving the day with my buddies first lake trout (no pic) and a really nice hog largemouth for him aswell.

I hit up some more wild brown trout and my other buddy wanted to get in on it so off we went...my usual tactics weren't working so I gave him a little panther martin spinner and he whacked up two nice ones in the pools. his first ever browns. but then we saw one of the biggest stream trout i've ever seen in NJ! unfortunately it was dead...but i took a picture of it. most likely dead from mishandling recently it only looked to be eaten a little bit by crayfish or little eels or something but was still pretty fresh. It was 24" long and as fat as a football and a half. it's a shame it was dead, what a memorable catch and release that fish would've been

thanksgiving morning and sunday i went saltwater fishing (great days, i'll post that up in the sw section) but friday i went for smallies and eyes...my buddy had one average eye and 3 dink smallies on blade baits and i couldn't buy a blade bite so i switched to my jigging rap and started hammering crappies...it was silly fishing!

he then couldn't buy anymore bites from the bass or eyes so both just put a hurting on the crappie. 21 for me with 50% of them in the 11-14" range! awesome fun...though i kind of wish someone told me the liver bite on cong heated back up! haha. here's what happens when you've done nothing but fish between 2-3 hours of sleep for a few days...stupid face pictures!

saturday JDtuna and i went muskie fishing thinking they would be chewing the rainbows recently stocked...NOPE. skunked along with the other 3 boats there musky fishing...oh well. only pic i have is the cool looking rainbow trout lure i doctored up specifically for that trip! i should've taken that big dead rainbow with me and used that as bait! haha

Chris.......great report. Sad about the bow, that is one helluva a fish. Not sure I've ever seen a rainbow that wide....wonder what happened to it to make it die. Pretty cool looking doctoring of the shad to imitate a rainbow, I'm sure that will get bit just a matter of time. Can only imagine the faces you'll make when you land that first flat head!

I feel like Dakota said everything I wanted, haha! Great looking HOG, not sure if it was your buddys' PB but damn good for Jersey!! Definitely a notch & a half in the belt if that bow was alive and landed. That blows but cool to know they get soo plump if you can find them. Sounds like an epic crappie bite as well, hahaaa!! Great looking pics man!!

BOO!!!!

Man I hate seeing dead fish let alone a trophy.

I found a 6# large mouth floating in LH this spring. Was pretty upset. I like to think it was from old age.

Some nice fish, shame about the Rainbow, could have been old age.

Great report Chris.

Its December already and we still hammering away at them. Way to go.

Now if I can only find those crappies, they will get no mercy from me.

Great pics with some beautiful fish caught! Poor breeder Rainbow, that's a bummer seeing a monster like that dead! Your all over the place Chris, it's a beautiful thing. Can't beat a steady Crappie bite. Fun for hours when you get into them. Get some sleep for once, SHEEEEEESSHHHH!:D

Saturday was a tough one for sure! But you slammed them in both fresh and salt the rest of the weekend. Can't beat that!
