Black Friday Pike/Pickerel

I had a little time to hit the river on Friday, and it did not disappoint. The pike were more than willing to cooperate, and in less than an hour I ended up with a couple of pike to 30 inches and a 22+inch pickerel that had apparently survived a recent attack from a larger, toothy cousin. I don't catch very many pickerel in my pike spots, but the ones that I do are usually quality fish. In addition to the good fishing I got to spend Black Friday on the river without another person in sight.

The water conditions were pretty good. The level was still just a tad above normal, but the clarity was excellent. Also, the leaves were not a problem.

Great looking fish BROSKI! Glad to see that our local waters are still producing some quality fish. Amazing fishing weather were having right now. Keep the reports comin!!!:D
