Been wading around doing some ultra light trout fishing. Want 2/3 hook ups to hits today after sharpening the bum hooks I had on my pins minnow...beats the hell out of 1/7 that I had last time. Still no return email from yo-zuri...

I didn't snap a picture of the one that was a little bigger due to it taking me a little work to un hook it I just let it dart off. But they were both gorgeous specimens! Both surprisingly in faster current on a fairly steady medium retrieve.

Got some time off coming up to hopefully get on some monster hunting!

I love catching those little guys, they fight way better than the stockers! Give the micro rapala X-raps in brown trout color a try, they have to be the most productive lure in that fast current for the wild browns they just smoke it.

Great looking fish! I would honestly rather catch an 8" wild trout than an 18" stockie.

FYI, a small white grub on a jighead is my usual weapon of choice for wild browns, they really seem to crush it!
