this is what happens when I get two days off of work in a row! no species is safe! Some of the pics suck, i think the focus was off or the lens was wet idk.

I had to give in to the chicken liver bite, all i was getting were small panfish with jigs. So i wrangled up a handful of brids, the biggest one going just over 24" and coming on a double header both fish landed...nothing like both rods going off at the same time when you're by yourself! haha

After that I trolled up some bows (no not the same lake), mostly 13-15" but got one nice 17" very silvery one (probably living in the lake for over a year).

next, I whacked up some bronzebacks but they were mostly small except for this 17 incher.

I hadn't had enough yet, so i moved to deeper water and used my trusty jigging rap to temp some marks. Lake trout...they went berserk on the surface and i couldn't get any in the net though so no pictures, they both escaped my camera! but to my surprise, shortly after that i got crushed by a gargantuan perch over 14"! haha

If there was such a thing as fishing too much, i'd have a problem...good thing there is NO SUCH THING...no matter what my wife says :D

Nice mixed bag! How was boat traffic on the big lake?

it was thursday and i had 4-5 boats surrounding me, but i was there first and kept my slick going and none of the other boats had much action. I'd say fairly heavy traffic for a fall weekday, but the lake is big enough
