Hey can anyone provide me with tips on what baits to use for grass carp? Never targeted them before. Thanks

if you can get your hands on their natural food sources and grind it up with some flour to make boilies, i'm sure that'd be hard to beat. i've never targeted grass carp specifically but that's what would make sense to me.

I've only caught one and it was on puffed corn floated off the bottom

I'm sure anything that usually works for the carp bite will interest them. Not sure how to target them specifically cuz they hang with other carp in groups if not strolling around solo. My best bet would be soft white bread, no crust, either a half or full slice balled up or flat little pancake style on #2 bait hook.

Try using w/e bait works for the carp in the same area. so if you are catching common carp on corn, keep using that corn and eventually a grass carp will get to it before the commons do. Of course you must fish a body of water that regularly produces grass carp.

If you got a fly rod rod, tie up a piece of green hair and hackle, add some floatant so it floats on the water surface. Wait for them to cut the grass, they will come to the surface to eat the grass clippings then just cast out in front of the feeding mouths
