Found a Trout

Haven't been catching many trout this fall season since the stocking, but today I got one! Last week I caught two trout at the Ramapo (the first trout of the fall season for me). One was a 10" brown trout and the other an 11" rainbow. I assumed these were small fish stocked by New York State. So I resumed my search, which brought me to the Wanaque River today. Caught only one trout but it was worth the trip! Fish was 18", biggest trout I have caught so far :D
Aside from the trout, got a lot of small fish that I always like to catch: sunfish, largemouth bass, cutlip minnows, and yellow perch.

Other than the jacked up tail , that fish actually looks to be in gr8 shape...Pretty fizz!!:)
Its not quite as mutantish as alot of the fall stockies i've seen and caught....

Awesome. I might hit the lower Wanaque or the Rockaway. They are stocking trout up to 24 inches and 8 pounds.

They stocked the lower Wanaque too? (the part that comes out of Wanaque Reservoir).
