Needs some help fellas. I have a few hours to kill here tomorrow late morning / early afternoon. Without blowing up your spots, anyone have some tips on places to try my luck and use my free time?

Appreciated as always

Assuming you mean not too far from Rutherford. Try the Passaic just above Dunde Dam. The Hackensack, Saddle River, Overpeck lake, Ramapo River, or if you dont mind a short hike, Ramapo Lake

Yes, happy to drive around a bit. Would be thrilled to pull a pike out of the pasaic, but im not real choosy. Just trying to figure out what gear to drag along and what options there are.

Thanks

FYI Ramapo is closed until further notice due to issue with bears

The lake is closed, not the river. Find access elsewhere on the river itself. Fished there yesterday with some Lmb & yellow perch off worms.

Only the section of the river that goes through the reservation is closed

All around the reservation and Ramapo Lake on Skyline Drive, Ringwood was blocked off over the weekend. Top of Skyline and Bottom of Skyline had police tape and barriers set up.

Take a ride to the Dundee Dam as was mentioned in an earlier post. I've always done well fishing the downstream side of the dam, and if you have waders, you can access even more good water there.
