"Don"t let he dock lines hit you in the ass!" It's not just NJ, you can say the same about every state. Politicians, federal government, commercial concerns and special interest groups want ocean resources for themselves. Every state's recreational fishing contingent is under attack. Florida isn't an exception and I'm sure has it's own set of issues to deal with. Have a safe trip and watch out for Joaquin if you're running the boat down.

Rich, do you run charters out of Singer Island. My parents live in Stuart and when I visit them I usually charter boats out of Jupiter.
Let me know

You abide by the size and catch limits and you have no problems. I was referring to the revolving door sea bass dates, the fact that in October you can't fish for sea bass or fluke, don't get me started about the fluke limits. No, Florida is much easier to work in.

I remember when the first fluke limits came out an old local fisherman said they are going to make outlaws out of all of us. I think he was right
