I used to fish it a LOOONG time ago. (60's/early 70's) Back then it was a decent bass lake and a good pickerel lake. Haven't even seen it since about '76 so I don't know the present state of it. Last I saw, it was becoming eutrophic. (mostly silted in with heavy coontail grass in the remaining deeper areas and thick lily pads in the rest of the lake) I'd heard some time ago that it had been dredged, don't know how true that is though.

I was out there once in my kayak last winter. I marked some fish on the Humminbird, but didn't land any. I do want to get back there this fall.

have seen pictures and know of at least two 10 lb bass taken just above the falls.... have seen boats back by the bridge and was just wondering what else lurks there
