Early Fall Weather, Big Nasty Bow!!

Took advantage of a day off and some great weather on tap for the day! Hit the road before sunrise and headed out to try some new water. I was definitely rewarded for not sleeping in when I hooked a beastly bow in my first spot!!

After a decent hike I saw a nice collection of leaves along the bank creating some nice cover. Tossed my lure past and reeled it in right along the edge. Saw a Big fish charge out after it then suddenly stop! I also froze, just long enough to watch him turn, grab it, and peel off!!!

After a muddy battle, I CPR my biggest bow of the year! Followed it up with a couple smallies, a tiny brown, and 2 more bows lost to acrobatics!! Bring on the fall fishing!!!
