Just got back from a few days in the Finger Lakes. First time up there and the area is just awesome. Connected with a Bass Fishing guide for a day on Honeoye Lake and it was a banner day to say the least. We ended up with 42 LMB all on whacky rigged zoom trick worms around weed edges in 5 to 10 feet of water. Most were in the 1 to 2 lb range but a few were nice ones. All topped off by a fat 5lber...and this time I caught the most and biggest and not the wife! HA! :D Oh and we hit 11 different wineries, three breweries, and one distillery on the day and a half that we didn't fish. It's a great area to visit if you haven't already.

Thanks to the guys who gave me some great intel...it all was right on point.

Here are a few pics...the first is what most of the bass looked like then a nice 3 1/2 lb bass that the wife caught and the fat girl that I got. Just a great day all around.

Sounds like a totally awesome trip Ken.

You just had to rub it in with wineries and breweries and such, I know

Great fish, way to slam them at new location.

Welcome home Ken! Bet it was hard to leave that area and get back to reality. Glad you and the wife enjoyed yourselves and got to catch some fish. So much to see and do as the Adirondack region is just GINORMOUS! Great report! See you upstate in a month. TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D

Nothing like curing a hangover by slaying some fish!!!! Sounds like you guys did it right up there, That NY wine country is an awesome region.
