Mostly full moon so my expectations for eyes was minimal. Fished 2.5 hrs and one nice smallie to show for my efforts. Had eyes follow but just window shopping. One of them was gigantic. Maybe after the full moon passes it'll get better. Perhaps there's a transition occurring too. Mid 50s at night after 80 degree days...could be throwing them off. Prob gonna give it a rest for a bit and try fishing when the sun is up for a change lol... here's the bronze. 15"...

Might have the same problem during the day! I thought the same thing temp swings are big now transitioning to fall, I've been having significantly tougher time this week opposed to last. Your one fish is more than I caught yesterday! Man I hate getting skunked!

They fight twice as hard in the river. This thing beached itself with a jump then flipped back into the water and kept going. Admirable battle for sure.

I gotta take what I can get, jimmy. It hurts but not as much as not fishing. That hurts waaaaay more!
