Hey guys,

Had to take a ride with my buddy to his place in upstate NY. Only reason I went was to fish! ;)

Hit the lake around 5:30pm and had non stop action immediately. If it were always that easy. Landed some monster pike in a very short time. They were hitting anything we threw.

Great couple of days on the water. These we some of the larger ones. Unfortunately we didn't have a tape measure or scale but they were fat and long! All fished released safely to fight another day.

Enjoy the fish porn!

Being a nj angler and the pressured fish you put up with here, it's no surprise you can slam them in other states! Way to go, those are some gators!

Awesome looking Pike man! Those are some gators for sure. They all have nice big heads. Should be super fat by the end of fall. Great catching!

I had the privilege of fishing 1 really productive NY Pike lake a while ago. The initials of the lake were L.L. This place was absolutely loaded with Pike and they destroyed spinner baits like they were nothing. This report makes me want to get up there.:D

Thanks guys! I love fishing Jersey waters but do not mind taking the road trip to fish some less pressured areas. It was certainly worth it this trip. Hope he needs me to take another ride soon! :D

I am seriously considering not buying my NJ hunting license anymore, due to the crowds. ( I bowhunt only, public land). Since traveling out of state much more frequently I have gotten spoiled. Last few years in NJ 4 0ut 0f 5 public land hunts have been ruined by other hunters walking under stands at prime time. Fishing pressure seems to have shot up recently as well.
