Saturday Mixed Bag 8/8/15

Got it wet about 7:30am hot no breeze sheet of glass NO signs of any action to be had. Checked a couple of usual spots and had no luck. Decided to make a move and I made the right one. Cruising around I happen to spot the infamous "Zac" and an entourage aboard his boat so I figure at least fish near somebody I know and see if they are doing any better than me. They had a few fish already so I set up and made a few passes before I hooked up! PHEW! Skunks off!!! A cat and a hybrid to start it off and from then on it was a slow steady pick but some superb fish came to the net today on the GetANet. The tally for the day was seven fish, 3 Hybrids with one taping out just over 25"s for the biggest one of the year so far! 3 Catfish with another beast, prob my PB if not damn close this thing had a huge head which was almost as wide as my hand! And a little bronze to round off the bag. A nice smallie that went airborne added to the excitement of the day. Made a few video's that are posted on my fb page and here's a couple of shots of the Biggin's for you to enjoy. Trolling bait as usual!!!

Nice nice fish my brother. Sounds like a fine day on the water! That Hybrid sure is a fatty. Awesome mixed bag indeed! The videos have been ok so far. I think you need some hardcore music in the background to get the viewers fired up. YEA BUDDY!!!:D

The water level appears to be about three feet below full - but it's dropping fast. There is no significant rain in the forecast in the near future.

Water is way down only one ramp in the water and a lot of the cove by 31 is already dried up!!! Def making for tough fishing conditions!!!!
