Inshore? Offshore? Nearshore? Okay, where do you draw the line? I have to assume inshore means west of the canyons and east of the 3 mile line! For boating safety concerns, someone might want to begin referring to various distances from the beach by boat length and engine power. It would be a kind of "common sense fishing chart ". It might have prevented the tragedy that happened to the two teens off Florida last weekend. Big Game fish close to shore is always a temptation to boaters no matter how old they are or in what condition their boat is.

Nice Hoo for sure! After the reading the post I had to google nj state record to see sure it stood. Not even close but a killer catch nonetheless.
'inshore' meaning west of the shelf yes... local fish not a canyon fish. the boat it was caught on has twin screws I know that much .. im still sick over this story in Florida though.. any updates on that search?
