I use to keep my first boat up in Greenwood Lake back in the early 90's and it was mostly a LM Bass and SM Bass lake. I havnt fished up there since and most of the reports I see on here now are about Walleye and Muskies. Are the bass still there or have they been wiped out by other species? Thx

South end of the lake is the bass haven, though I've heard that bass virus took a chunk out of the population. I believe the state did some supplemental stocking of lmb's or smb's there, I don't remember. I target only the toothy ones there but do get the occasional Bass bycatch.

There where LM"s throughout the whole lake and SM's in the north half of the lake back then. There where a few Muskies and no walleye at all. The largest LM bass I caught there was close 7lbs and I caught it on the sunken island up north. I think the lake has really changed fish wise since then. Hopefully I will get out there again cause I really like that lake.
