I know some of you guys like hearing from the black, so: I hit it Monday, first day off of work in months. Went in between rainstorms, water was very stained. Hot as hell and humid out. Did lots of hiking and pickpocketing quite far from the stocking signs (and when I say far, I mean far lol). I had 9 fish total before heading to long valley brew pub for a much needed beer(s) and bison burger. Great day all together, hacklebarney is so rewarding when you put the time into finding the fish there. All fish caught and released :) http://i61.tinypic.com/20idz6s.jpg http://i59.tinypic.com/20kr79h.jpg http://i58.tinypic.com/10mly5u.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/25rzbev.jpg

That river is a big "if only". That 3 mile swamp it flows through before the gorge just kills the temps not to mention "historic" Kays Pond. Despite upper 70's temps, it still holds some wild browns and few native brookies.
