Fished the delaware for 4 hrs on Saturday. Caught about 10 smb to 17 inches a river chub a sunny an eel and 4 walleye. Two walleye went about 20 inches. Half the fish were caught on night crawlers and the rest on rubber worms (yamamato). Good to see life. Water was warm enough to swim which was a bonus!

Sounds like a great day on the river. How deep were you finding the fish, most notably the Walleye?

I don't like bring my phone in a canoe! These things are too expensive to get them wet.

I love that river! Sounds like you had an enjoyable, relaxing and productive day out there. Haven't been pounding it yet myself but the fish I've got have all been in 5-10 feet of water. Did you use the eel for bait?

Yes, waterproof phone cases are cheap. Usually under $20. Sometimes your pictures will be slightly distorted if the plastic moves away from the camera lens or the pictures can be foggy if the plastic gets dirty or builds up humidity inside. But hey, your taking pictures and documenting your catches!
