Rode out the low tide in Shark River and started out a little later on the breezy Saturday morning. Met by small chop in the ocean with the 10-15 knots blowin'. Checked in with some of the early birds who shot up north and didn't sound like too much was going on. Decided to save some gas and hang in the church area. Moved around in 57 to 58 degree water all day. Drifted over the marks and had some bites and hangers but lost a few cranking up. Managed a 16 incher on a Sharkbite chartreuse teaser and a few skates. Partner boat in the area landed two keeps, some shorts and some smaller sea bass. Warmed up for a nice ride back in and the boat is purrrrrinn!

Good to see you out there on Saturday Mike. We stayed in the River until ~11am and culled 2 Keepers from 50+ shorts. I lost a big one at the surface waiting (too long) for the net. Those Sharkbite Teasers are the Bomb - Dales proved they work. We'll get Team Blind Squirrel to use them in the Elks Tournament so you can grab some of our glory :p :)
