Onboard the Miss Montauk ~ Despite the nasty winds this morning today was a great day of Fluke fishing! Richard caught the pool fish weighing in at 10.40 lbs! Runner up was Mr Kim's 9.96 lber! There were a few 8 lbers & 7 lbers as well!! Plenty of happy anglers with full coolers ~ fun day! Yesterday's pool winner was Young Kim with a 8.75 lber!

It turned out to be a great day onboard the Miss Montauk - the weatherman was wrong! The pool was caught by Steve weighing in at 8.5 lbs! Runner up was Stanton's 8 lber! Some had more than their limit ~ ORL, others had less ~ a good day. The morning bite was fantastic!

Today on the Miss Montauk fishing was a little tougher then its been. With 42 fares we only managed about 85 keepers, and the pool was only 6 plus lbs.
( Mike caught today's pool winner with his 6.3 lb Fluke! )
I could explain and make excuses but that wouldn't matter for those on the boat today. I expect a much better report tomorrow. I hope lol.

Happy 4th of July Everyone! I got to enjoy fishing today & caught this nice 7.5 lber! Kang caught the pool fish weighing in at 8.8 lbs! Good Fluke fishing this morning, anglers put a nice catch together. Primarily Fluke with some Porgy & Blues mixed in and of course SeaBass too that get thrown back. ( I spoke to DEC yesterday according to them SeaBass will open on the 15th, they are waiting for a signature from Albany.)

Sunday Bill Haberland caught a doormat weighing 10.27 lbs - officially weighed in at the Marine Basin - Sweet catch Bill!! Today ( Monday ) great quality Fluke, pool was 8+ lbs! Onboard the Miss Montauk Friday - fishing was very good dispite what I would call very tuff conditions for Fluke, with never drifting over .5 knt. However the crew tells me we had 6 fish over 8 lbs with Bill H going home with an 8 1/2 lber to take the win. John B was a very close 2nd! We saw some nice SeaBass and even Ling to round out the catch.

I have to agree with you shrimpman. I have been on tons of party boats over the years and the miss montauk is by far the best one i have ever been on. Top notch crew and captain. Big difference compared to boats around here in NJ i have been on. I will also be going out with them labor day weekend.

Really good family run boat. I like that they fish from 7am-4pm. I go every year and always have good results. Jamie will also assist you with getting lodging in the harbor area when you come up to fish.

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ Craig had the pool winning Fluke weighing up at 9 pounds!! - A great catch! Anglers managed a pretty good catch for the tough conditions we had most of the day.
These photos are from yesterday ~ Joe won the pool with his 7.48 lb Fluke! And Carmen had the biggest Fluke of the day weighing in at 8.2 lbs! ( today's photos won't load, sorry. I'll try again tomorrow.)

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ Jim won the pool! It was a bit rough out & the conditions made for tough fishing, but everyone made the best of it & enjoyed the day! Anglers went home with Fluke & SeaBass. The 1st photo is from today, the rest is from yesterday including Craig's 9 lber!

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ A quality Fluke fishing day, not everyone had quantity. Mark had the largest Doormat Fluke weighing in at 10.1 lb - Sweet! There were also two 9 lbers onboard! Carol had 6 & 7 lbers to go in the cooler. So quality Fluke coming over the rail today & SeaBass too!

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ Bill had the largest Fluke weighing in at 6.7 lbs! We also had SeaBass & even a Cod on the boat! The Fluke bite was tough, they seemed to be laying on the bait more than eating it ( dropped fish & snagged fish.) So the bite was a bit off, but tomorrow's another day!
Friday looks bad with the sea conditions, so call tomorrow evening before coming out - right now it looks like we will be cancelling this Friday's trip. #631-668-1545

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ The Fluke Fishing was tough, but anglers had a nice mixed bag. Fluke, SeaBass, Ling, & 7 Cod! went into the coolers. Joe caught the pool Fluke weighing in at 8 lbs - Nice! But the biggest Fish of the day was the 200 lb Thresher Rob Valente hooked into with a jig on his Fluke rod! He brought it in to about 3 feet below the surface by the boat & then it broke the jig off - but what a show - it was awesome - Great job!
We are NOT fishing tomorrow (Friday) the sea conditions look bad. They don't look great for Saturday either, so give us a call tomorrow evening if you plan on coming out Saturday. #631-668-1545

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ a pretty good day of fishing, Pool Fluke was caught by Joe, weighing in at 8.95 lbs - Nice! High hook was Tyler with 9 keeper Fluke! Most went home with Fluke, every one went home with SeaBass, a pretty good day.

Just because Labor Day is over doesn't mean Fluke Fishing is! Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ A Great Day of Fluke fishing! Half the boat had their limit of Fluke! With SeaBass & Porgy in the mix too. Ed W won the pool with his Fluke weighing in at 7.3 lbs - Nice! The best day of Fluking we've seen in a while!

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ Good Fluke Fishing today with the large crowd. Jin won the pool with his 6.3 lb Fluke! Nice SeaBass in the mix too ~ the largest SeaBass of the season was caught today by OK weighing up at 6.72lbs!
We are Fluke Fishing, Full Day through the end of the Fluke season (September 21st) (Starting the 22nd we will be SeaBass & Porgy fishing)

Onboard the Miss Montauk today ~ A very good day of Fluke Fishing! A lot of people had their limit of Fluke & there were a good amount of nice SeaBass in the coolers too! Action all day. The pool weighed in at 6.8 lbs - Nice!
The last day we can fish for Fluke is Monday the 21st, the Fluke season is winding down - so come get some Fluke while you can!

The conditions weren't too good, but they managed to get enough for dinner & have a good time. Tuesday we had gotten out with the Veterans group - a great group! Also for bottom fishing ~ Roland & Bill took 1st & 2nd place in the pool with some nice SeaBass.

Onboard the Miss Montauk - We had a great time with the Fishark Adventures Group yesterday! A great group of anglers & nice fishing too. The weather turned out to be beautiful & the BlackFishing was very good. Rich SeaHag had the largest BlackFish weighing in at 7+ lbs - very nice! Everyone went home with fish & had fun - that's what it's all about! Thank you Captain Amanda for putting the trip together!

Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ We had a great maiden voyage :D
The Cod Fishing was very good. The bite was mostly on bait, not jigs today. Average catch was 8-10 a man. The pool winner Louis Ross was also high hook catching 20 Cod! - ORL.

Onboard the Miss Montauk II - Cod Fishing on Sunday was a little tougher. We moved around a bit in search of a hungry bunch of Cod. We had Cod at every stop but not a huge amount. Anglers went home with Cod, just not full coolers. Monday & Tuesday are gusty winds, looking forward to getting back out there mid week.

The Miss Montauk sailed Tuesday - on a picture perfect day, the only thing missing in this picture was full coolers. We did manage a catch but not what we really needed. We had finaly got a pick going that may have saved the day but the drift stopped all together. We searched around looking for fish and tide but never found it. Young Kim won the pool.
The end of the weeks weather looking good, not as good as today (which might be a good thing lol). Maybe well have a drift.

Onboard the Miss Montauk II - We sailed yesterday. We got to the cod grounds for a slow pick, not satisfied with that and now having speed i decided to go check out a piece of possible virgin bottom. It did show some positive signs however only produced dogs. So we hit a couple wrecks near by but only had a few fish and some more dogs. Slow fishing, but a fun crowd on board made the best of it. The weather looks fantastic for the weekend, if interested on sailing please make resv by calling #631-668-1545. I will probably stay on the normal cod grounds but no promises, lol.
