Started out the day waiting for the fog to lift. Finally had a window and got out. Attempted to make a drift but we it was wind against the tide. Option #2 blues and bass....all the Gator blues you could ask for and no bass for us. We couldn't get passes the blues. End of the day made a few more drifts for fluke and I hooked up to 1 nice keeper. My buddy had a fish bigger than mine but he spit the hook a few feet from the boat. Fished in 15-25 ft of water w/ water temp of 60.
P.S. It was on bucktail if you were wondering. :D
Took the blue for a neighbor who loves them

Something I always wondered about...
If NY's fluke season opens before NJ and you launch from / dock in NJ but fished all day in NY waters, what happens when you return home with what was legally caught but NJ F&G are standing there?

If you are stopped in nj waters now with a fluke its is illegal. Does not matter what port you leave from
