It's my first time trying here any advice welcome. Is the park launch open 24/7? Want to launch in the dark. Hoping for my first walley.

Before hitting that lake make sure you got on some black n yellow. I also have some extra Steelers hats to bring you better luck, lemme know.
Jus playin, haha! But seriously, I know Crisper4694 has done dirt with postive results there, maybe he'll give you the low down. Good luck either way!

lol, most of my friends are steelers fans. Looks like I'm going in solo.

Yes, launching is 24/7 there, you'll have no issues. As for fishing, I have not been up there since the fall bite, but I'd stay shallow and be there early and late. Weedlines and rockpiles..

i actually usually only fish there in the fall with blade baits being my go to...i honestly don't think i've ever been there in spring. If it's like walleye in other lakes though, try hitting the points as they come up shallow with crank baits/jerk baits.

Thanks for the info guys. Did pretty good. Caught walleye,LG & small mouth bass, crappie, sunnies, rock bass, and even a beat up brown trout. Looked like a walleye thought he was dinner. Lost my 2 nicest fish of the day though. A big walleye and small mouth. Maybe next time.l
