Walleye Friday, Rocco's 1st, 5/8

Got back on the night bite with Mikey and Rocco last night to see what was happening out there in the world of fishing. On the water by 9 we were off to the races checking spots. Found some fish here and there but nothing spectacular. Lots of bumps and follows but not many aggressive fish willing to inhale the baits. Surface action was non existent in most areas and not much was seen getting crushed on the top of the water column.

Mikey did manage 2 nice Walleye, a LM and some assorted panfish. The thrill of the night was watching Rocco get his 1st ever Walleye. His face and excitement was priceless. He had a few bumps early on but the fish just wouldn't come tight. Finally he hooks one around 18 inches and brings it to the boat and in the net it goes. Good fish my friend and congrats on your first Walleye! Cherry popped thanx to Mikey and the Green Hornet!!! I got a few fish as well, 2 Walleye, 1 @ 21 inches and another @ 22.5 inches. All in all a slow night on the water but hey, Rocco got his 1st Eye so all is good. Off the water early, 1230. Might have missed alot of action by leaving to soon but we'll have other opportunities very, very soon.

Thanx for looking girls and boys! Oh, if your headed out tonight watch the weather and look out for a FOG advisory after midnight. The ride up will be easy but the ride home may turn into hell. Be careful gang. FOG SUCKS.......especially if you have a long ride.
