splitrock reservoir

has anyone heard anything about the ramp that was supposed to go up at Splitrock reservoir?

Last I heard citizens of Rockaway and Kinnelon were fighting it, saying that it would bring too many people to the area, leaving trash and such. Was there a few weeks ago and there was still no ramp. The water was about 2 feet lower than usual which made launching in a kayak a little easier than usual.

As I understand things, it's part of the master plan. Hoping it doesn't happen.
