Fished a North Jersey River yesterday for a couple hours before work and landed this chunky LMB. Fish caught on a Dirty Jig with a purple Power Worm trailer tail. Fish measured 20.5 inches in length. I didn't have a scale on me but it felt around 4 pounds. Im done with work today already so heading up the Hudson in search for a Striper. Will post results later.

.
Wow - that is a nice bass.
According to the length/weight charts, 20.5 inches puts it at or very close to 5 pounds!

Very nice! If it is a North Jersey river that runs through Bergen County, I have caught more 20"+ Largemouth there than any other body of water.

Thanks men . So I caught a 3pound lmb in the same stretch of river this time last year. I revisited yesterday and was rewarded with that beauty. Seemed like a 4-5 pound fish as soon as I lifted her from the water. Pissed I didn't have a scale. Yes Rob I've been hitting the most northern parts of that fine river. I have not caught any of this size in the other stretch we both frequent but I know they are in there. As you and others have told me. Here is another pic ,excuse the shake and bake. As OJ Simpson once said 'it happens".
