Great Day on the Delaware

Waded North of the Gap with legendary NJ Fish board member Predator and a few other shad finatics from 2 to 7 pm. We landed 20 or so shad between the 2 of us with several nice size roe. All the conditions were perfect for a good day and we weren't disappointed. The Shad run is in full swing. All fish were caught on flutter spoons with orange being the color of the day. Hopefully we can post some of the go pro video tmr.

I'll be at them again tomorrow hoping for my first one, thanks for the report. Gives me a shred of confidence after the crushing defeat Wednesday! Still learning how to read the river.

The river is loaded with shad right now.The main run is here. As long as the conditions stay ok we'll have shad for 2 or 3 weeks. I can't get enough of this fishery. Back at it Sunday
