Good work Andy,
My hat is off to you sir.
Andre
I am sitting here shaking my head!
I just cant understand why CJST wont ask for assistance. A backhoe can remove 50x the tires in a single day, than all the volunteers combined. No chance of volunteers getting hurt, and the backhoe wouldn't be too sore tomorrow to go to work!
They need to learn to use their man power wisely!
Hope your having fun Andy, stay safe!

My guess is that if the DEP saw you digging with a backhoe it would open up a huge can of worms bringing you into the realm of permits & studies. Just a guess.

Roughly 3500 tires removed from the Raritan over 3 years time.
Obsolutely not, been done multiple times before, it's never a problem. It's County land with Park Rangers on site. It's just poor planning mixed into a PR stunt.

The real issue is the number of *******s who feel the public waterways are their very own personal dumping grounds for tires. It's insane how many tires are shown just on this website alone! Kudos to the people volunteering their time and resources cleaning up after these idiots.
