sorry for the late post have been busy the past few days. started the day early with my brother in law at a lake in middlesex county lots of life but after staying for about 2.5-3 hours got no love. we decided to return to home waters in union county and try our luck. ended up connecting with two decent sized carp after an hour or so. this was my first ever carp and after multiple trips and hours of waiting i got what i was looking for!

Nice fish.I know that pond!
Did you see the orange and bright yellow ones?
They get crazy around spawning time.
There used to be nice nice size panfish in there.

For what it's worth, I was at a local pond Sunday evening throwing trout magnets for panfish and bass when my kids and I started catching small carp and big goldfish on the magnets. I never had them hit artificials before. Good fight on ultralight gear.

I don't target Carp, but everytime I accidentally hook into one, I'm reminded of how freakin' strong fighters they are. Nice job guys.
