Caught and released this fish with a 1/32 oz green leadhead jig and 1" chartreuse twister tail on 2 lb test line in Carnegie Lake yesterday.

Bluefin, def not a Yellowfin. You can tell by the pec fins!

You can see the eye is close to it's nose. Gizzard shad.

Gonna go with the gizzard shad theory. Supposedly the place is jammed with them and that is why the state stocked some toothy critters in there. Nice catch btw!

Correct answer is Nemo, the gizzard shad. This is a great web site. There are many knowledgeable fishermen here.
